Unlike spray paint, moss graffiti is all natural and healthy to work with. You can paint words or images, and the moss fills in like magic! It’s easy as pie to whip up a batch of moss paint. Here’s how:
In your blender, combine:
- One can of cheap beer or 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- A few handfuls of moss
- One teaspoon of sugar.
Blend until the mixture is smooth, and you’re ready to get painting!
You can use a brush to paint your moss onto concrete walls, rocks, or brick. Mist the moss once a day to help it thrive, and soon your green graffiti will take hold! If you’re looking to take this project to the streets, use caution- we don’t want to be responsible for any vandalism charges! [all natural graffiti made from moss - crafting a greener world]

Hey everybody. Was not too long ago that we had a little ‘logo design’ contest here on the site. Our lucky winner came all the way from Spain, Oriol Alegret. His design was great, and I had it up on the site for quite some time. Settled into something a bit different, but the process of seeing so many talented and wonderful submissions was certainly fun for me, and I think all those who submitted had a good time too.
So… I was thinking. Diana Keh and I have been enjoying bringing you weekly gifs inspired by meinmyplace, but why should we have all the fun… Send in your meinmyplace inspired gif and if we like it, we’ll post it up on the site. Be sure to give a credit and a link so we can thank you with a bit of traffic back to your blog…
We probably can’t publish all the submissions, but we will do our best. Use the submission link here.
Looking forward to seeing your gifs…
